actually you can turbo that car. It is one of the better 3g models to turbo. On the stock block you will only be able to run around 8psi. But it is much safer than N2O

the 4g64 can actually handle 15 psi on stock internals, the 6g72 can only handle 6-8

thats pushing it bigtime...Most I would suggest to do is 10-12 tops...Your cylinder walls will begin to crack and then its time to buy or rebuild with the good ****. Nitrous is no where near safe nor LEGAL on a street vehicle...There are turbocharger kits which have EO sticker which make them 50 state legal and smog applicable.

its not pushing it, one guy has had his 4g64 twin turboed at 15 psi for over 100k miles, some people even have theirs at 18. 15 is safe

there is a guy who made nearly 325 whp and 340 wtq on 15 psi with dyno proof stock block.

he said he ran 18 psi with no problems but never dynoed it at the time

And his cylinder wall were probably becoming weak as ****. I mean it depends man I only worry with turbo cars because valves and pistons are not cool looking when as one If you know what I mean...

if youre wanting to turbo a 3g the hardest part is getting all the parts since there are no kits, well no good kits. but the 4g64 holds boost real well and theres no need to worry about cylinder walls. as long as you get a good tune and engine management youll be fine and can run 15 psi all day
