I am most likely going to get this done. I just recently bought the car and it had 41,000 miles on it whenever i bought it. 2004 GTS Not that I'm cheap I would much rather spend my tax return money on something else you know. Who wants to drop $1300 on the car and not buy something else that they can use. Example big screen tv. I will take it to the dealership because I called around to different garages and it costs just about the same amount to get it done. Spark plugs and wires cost about $600 to get done. Not sure why though.

I'm still not sure if I should get my timing belt or 60,000 maintence done. I would like to use the $1,300 for something else. Most of my friends are telling me they never got that done in any of the cars they ever owned. Not sure what to do. Any suggestions would be great. If it wasn't so much money I would get it done rite away. Not sure what to do
just wondering if anyone knows how much a garage would charge to do the timing belt.......i just hit 100,000 miles and got the car at 94,000 and started thinking about if the last owner ever did it.....thanks

the sparks plugs are a extensive job on the 6g72 thats why they cost so much, because you have to remove the intake plenum to get to the rear plugs and there are 6 plugs worth of parts to pay for
