if you punch the gas hard it should blip threw. I have a feeling your not punching it hard enough. you can try to clean the throttlebody but I bet it wont help. I can also add that one of my 3gs was in Fl and I DIDNOT have this in the warm climate. only in the dead winter of Ma. it is annoying but not a real problem. once you punch threw it the first time it doesnt get stuck again after that

Well she's all lubed up, so all I can do now is wait until tomorrow morning to see what happens. I agree that the cold has something to do with it because it doesn't seem to do it on the warmer days...But that pedal is STUCK when I start up...I layed on it pretty good and it didn't budge, and when I tried to move the throttle valve by hand it wouldn't move either. I just have to be patient and let it warm up, but hopefully some good ol' WD will ease along the process.
Do you think it could be a sign of anything worse, or is this just the natural progress of all 3G's? I've had this one since '02 and this is the first winter this has happened.

My next suggestion would have been W-D on the TB spring, but you beat me to it :P

its usuallyy not evennoticable cause it is not that bad, but I bet your car does do it without you noticing. another thing I noticed with mine is it was not as bad with the 4g64. In his case yea it is not as normal as I have had. My cars never got litterally stuck they are just stuck unless you tap the gas

Well the lube didn't seem to have any effect. Even if I try laying down on the pedal with a lot of force, it won't budge...Like I said earlier, I even tried to move the throttle by hand and it wouldn't move either.
Any other suggestions, or do I just need to wait out the cold weather for it to stop sticking?

pop the hood when it is stuck and try to open the TB by hand and see if that moves freely

I live in alaska and my gas pedal never gets stuck, check the cover on your throttle cable to make sure there isnt getting snagged on anything. or you can try cleaning the inside of your TB, not sure if it will help though, probly cant hurt.
