aftermarket Cd player

Default aftermarket Cd player

I have a 2000 eclipse RS and the cd player doesnt work, if i get an aftermarket on will my clock still work or will it just be blank?

Im not positive but Id imagine itll work, if not all youd have to do is tap a power source.

I dont believe so. Dont quote me on it, but from what Ive seen the 3rd gen radio has the same harness and wiring as the 2nd gen. I was actually looking at a 3rd gen cd changer to put into my 2g rs. I dont have a clock in my 2g, the wiring is essentially 12v, ign, gnd, 8spkr lines ( 4 spkrs, each +/-), pwr antenna and if it was a premium radio a rem amp switch wire for the infinity oem amp. Other than that theres the iso plug and antenna plug. The only place that the radio would influence a clock is power.

I hope any of this helps and if anyone has more input or correcting any mistakes, please add.
