i recently bought a 99 eclipse spyder gs
and the front speakers..no sound coming from
rear speakers max volume is arouund 25 and sounds cuts
i usually pop off the face plate and put it back
and it works again.
crazy system.

any suggestions for a new system
speakers
subs
amps
head unit

i heard i should get alpine?
suggestions very welcome

I have had my Alpine CDA7892 deck for over 2 years now, and it is showing no signs of giving out in the near future. I also bought the Alpine 300.1 V-12 series amp and 2 12" type-s subs. The amp has the digital readout of amperage, voltage, and degrees in Farenheit and Centegrade. The only bad thing about the head unit is that it is kinda old, so it dosen't read mp3 cd's, but it will read anything else.
Is the head unit in your car now the factory one?

 

i'm trying to replace my system too. It sucks. You've never heard a rattle in a speaker this big before.
