I just replaced the passenger side axle shaft on my 01 Galant, Auto, 4cyl. The shaft was a tight fit into the trans, but it went in. Now, I have a big leak coming out of the shaft seal. I'm assuming I ruined the seal when I put the new shaft in? Did I do something wrong?

How difficult is the shaft seal to replace? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

 

pop it out and tap in a new one i always change them when i do the axle
