1995Montero LS 4X4 Speedometer and Transmission Operations.
Friends,
The speedometer/odometer have stopped working. Along with this the transmission is always not in overdrive. The transmission rocker switch for power or hold is inoperative. The Cruise Control is not working either. They all seem connected to this problem.
I have replaced the sensor for the speedometer on the left side of the transmission, thought that was the issue (the gear itself it in great shape). It did not resolve the issue.
There have been some electrical gremlins with this great truck in the last few years, it has 260,000 miles on it.
All ideas greatly appreciated.
