Default 1996 420A Eclipse - Valve Cover Gasket Replacement

Hi! I'm planning to replace the valve cover gasket and spark plug chamber seals for my eclipse due to massive oil leakage. I've never done this before, and wanted to confirm whether I should be using any silicon for additional sealing. I've been reading various blogs and forums (including the eclipse bible) and have been getting mixed instructions whether or not to use silicon. Any advice would be much appreciated! Thanks!

Default Use good gasket set and torque to specs

Use the OEM or a good aftermarket gasket like Fel-Pro, torque the cover to specs, you should be good to go without any additional RTV silicone.
