Default 2004 Outlander Battery Drain Issues

I have a 2004 Outlander with 196,000 miles on it. Recently, the battery started to drain over a period of 8 hrs or so. I also noticed the blower motor for the heater would stay on even when the key was removed from the ignition. I pulled the resistor and fuse for the blower but I am still getting a dead battery after 8 hrs or so. I changed battery thinking the battery was bad, but no luck. I have finally put a disconnect at the battery. When ever I am out of the vehicle for a few hours I pull the disconnect to prevent a dead battery. I have checked for a drain by pulling fuses etc... no luck. Any ideas?

Also, I really cant complain about the Outlander. I bought it new in 2004. 196,000 miles and this is the first real issue with the ride.

I would pull all the fuses and let it sit for a day or two just to see if it still drains the battery. Then follow the short.....
