2017 Outlander key fob, door lock issue
My 2017 Outlander key fobs suddenly stopped working.
Have replaced batteries and still will not lock or unlock the car. Car still starts with key ok.
Also when locking the doors with the drivers door lock button, the locks all lock and unlock immediately. They don't stay locked, unless the door is shut.
The only way to lock vehicle is to hold in the door light switch and then lock car with drivers lock button, then hold handle open as closing the door. Auto locksmith attempted to reprogram keys but said they are still linked to car.
Any ideas?

Hi Deck wood.
did you sort out your problem with your car?
I have the exact thing going on atm with mine. Worked when we opened it to go out amd could not lock it later. Thanks for the tip on locking as we couldn't figure that one out.
Replaced the coin battery in remote and also car as was getting old. Cheers Shane

1. Park the car, turn ignition off, move the light switch to "off".
2. Open driver's door, keep it open
3. Press and hold down the lock key for 5 seconds - DO NOT release it or press anything else. Make sure you hold it down for around 5 seconds before you do the next step.
4. Press and hold the unlock button without releasing the lock button; release lock button; release unlock. You should hear a bleep.
It took me a while to do this the first time because I was not holding the lock key down for a full 5 seconds before I did the other steps, but now I've done it a few times, it's a 10 second thing.
If you do the same procedure with holding down UNlock first for 5 seconds, then hold down lock, release unlock and release lock, it changes the number of flashes that you get when you lock and unlock the doors.
