Default 94 eclipse problem

hey

i recently bought a 94 mitsubishi eclipse.its got 245/40 R 18 tyres. today when i reveed it up and dumped the clutch to wheel spin its jus didnt.the rpms rose but it jus didnt move the way it should.was rather sluggish and moved reall slowly.wht could be the problem ?

why are you trying to do wheel spin...whats the point. Dumping the clutch is bad for your drivetrain.But what model car is this?

was it more of a bogging issue, or did the revs climb up with no actual movement of the tires? if so, those are premature signs of clutch wear.

If the the clutch engaged and still the wheels didn't spin. Their obviously some other problem. Let us know?
