alternator belt

RE: alternator belt
I feel bad for you because its suck a pain in the ****. You need to jack up the car, and when you get under it(use jack stands) you can see the oil pan, floolw that to the right and there will be 2 belts around a big pully, follow the inside one back towars the rear of the car and there is you alternator. Now whats a pain is that you have to remove the power stearing and ac belt to access the alt. belt. So while your at it your better off replacing both of them. The tensioner for the power stearing belt is top side of the motor right under the a/c compressor its cake to get to. After thats off the hard part is the alt's tensioner... which is the alt. It rides on a bracker and has 2 screws on it(15mm i think) that keep it pulled back and locked into place. Its just a pain to get to. This all may sound confusing but once you get under the car and look around its cake... just alot of tedious work.
