auto to 5 speed tranny swap

Default auto to 5 speed tranny swap

i wanna do a transmission swap to a 5 speed manual in my 99 eclipse and what all will i need to do the swap and i mean everything plz help me with this the sooner i get the info on what i need the sooner i get everything i may need to put the tranny in

you need a donor car....plain and simple. There are alot of parts that are required. Here is a 1g but the basic approach is the same with the parts required

the car im getting the parts from is a 97 eclipse and my car is a 99 will i have any issues with the ecus or should i try and find a 99 manual ecu

no you should be fine with the ecu from the 97.

ok good deal and also how do i get the clutch and flywheel off i dont c an way to un bolt it all the bolts on the clutch are rounded studs and not bolts

sounds like a modular unit. what that means is all the clutch parts are pre installed together from the manufacturer and go in and out as one solid piece. should just be able to slide the whole unit out off the spline.
