1999 Galante.

Guys, this is embarrassing, but I am having trouble changing my tail light! I've changed multiple bulbs on various cars, but in looking at my 1999 Galante, there is a wiring harness behind the trim in the trunk. I assumed this just needed to be twisted off to pull out. However, it is not coming out at all.

You can see by the pic I've stripped the harness some (blue circle). Should I remove the nuts (red circles)? I would think this is not the case as that is a fairly big piece of metal just to get to the bulbs.

According to Motor/Alldata, just remove the nuts. The lens will pull off and you can change the bulb.
