Ive got a mitsubushi colt 1.5 diesel 57 plate. My kids , god bless them, broke my key fob and now it doesnt work properly and the engine is immobilized.

It will open and close doors but not start the engine. Had a locksmith round today to try and clone the key but it would let it and he reckons the circuit board inside fob damaged.

Is there any way to disengage immobilizer so that i can start it without..................having to tow it to local dealers, and have another key cut which will take a few days and cost almost £200
