I have a 91 eagle talon turbo car it was running fine and now the engine is missing and wants to die when you push on the gas... I dont know what it is.

 

have you done a tune up on it? changed fuel filter plus and wires. also check the timing on it.

 

No but, I dont see why it would do that after running fine for a week but!! I took a wire off my sensor on the throttle and it stopped doing it sorta and plus my battery kept going dead so i think it may be the batter and or alternator.

Another question... My headlights, dome lights and, brake lights only work when the car is on. Is this year supposed to do that or is it wiring? It had a security system in it and i ripped it out but, it still does the same thing as when it was in...

 

I found out the whole problem to it all... It was a 80amp fuse going to the alternator!

causing all this problem!

 

The 1st gen Talon's don't have a voltage guage. This is the simplest thing to install.

it is probably the alternator mine did the same thing when the alternator went out
