I just purchased a '00 Galant for my daughter. I am having trouble with the electrical system. I lose power to the radio and trip odometer (and who knows what else) when the car is turned off. This puts the radio into security mode and the trip odometer resets. Is there a relay or something that keep power to these items when the car is off. I am also having trouble with the electric locks, they don't work and neither does the remote. Don't know if it is related to the other problem. Any help would be appeciated.

 

simple problem...theres a fuse surrrounded by a yellow box thing in the fusebox under the hood...push it down..if it clicks that should fix it...the dealer uses this to put vehicles in showrooms and not drain power while sitting...
