I just got a '00 Galant and am having trouble with the radio. Every time the car is turned off the radio goes into the security mode and needs the security code input to start it up again. I also noticed the the trip odometer resets each time the car is powered off so it seems like there is no power to the dash area with the car off. I also don't have the power locks working either so I don't know if this is part of the same problem. Any help would be appreciated.

 

I also suffer from the same issues. Checked all fuses, and cleaned battery cables/connections. Key in ignition chime also does not work, when driver door open and key is in but not turned on. Everything is "stock" as far as I know. Thank you in advance for any help or tips to solving this.
