Iown a 92 3000gt vr-4. i just purchased it about 2 weeks ago andIwas on my way out to go for a drive and the car wouldnt start, but all the electrictronics would (i.e. strereo, heater,windows). This is the first time this has happened since I bought it. I am fairly new about knowledge on this car so I would greatly appreciate some help. Would it be my starter that's the problem or do I just need to replace the spark plugs?

 

Does the engine turn over?

 

i doubt its the spark plugs. But it could be a couple things. Starter, ignition, ect. The best way to check is to get a volt meter and check the connections at the starter to see if its putting out power.

 

I think before we actually get tothat we have to establish what is actually going on here. From what i can understand in his post it sounds like the engine actually turns over... so in actual fact this would not be the starter.
