I just bought a 91 eagle talon turbo automatic.... when i start it , it revs upbut when i put it in gear its fine?? any suggestions?

 

how high does it rev? Also hs it been cold outside, bc on the days its been in the 30's the engine revs high to heat everything up.

 

rev like how does it go to like 18000rpm then die back down or does it just go up and stay there

Ok well so i lied a bit, I dont have the car but the guy im getting it from says that it revs up but when you put it in drive its fine...

I had a 93 eclipse i just sold and it reved up then died down reved up and died down... just did that till it was warm enough... if you wan to answer that one too since someone asked.

 

if it just revs up and stays there sdjust your biss screw back it off a little see if that helps. if it revs up then dies then revs and dies check the iac.

 

How do I check the IAC?
