I put a new seal on 94 eclipse auto. When pulled I noticed the lead wires to the solenoid were cut real short to the caseand spliced with some open wires showing. Just my best to properly reconnect without tearing apart. Problem is I am getting codes for the A and B solenoids malfunction car won't shift. Question: Can I short or damage the solenoids from the wiring or can I just make sure the wiring is done properly. Also, is there an easy way to test the solenoids to see if they are working with acceptable levels.
