so ive got a 96 gs..420a n/t...and i blew a hole in the block by running her to low on oil..im assuming i can just get a new block but is that gonna get me through..or are theyre problems with my internals maybe..i dont know enough about it to tell whether or not something else could be messed up..what all will i need..thanks

More than likely so, but you will not know until you pull it apart. A hole indicates that something has had to strike it. That something is normally a broken rod.
You can pick up a used engine for around $600. Do a search on google.
