K well i am buying the 4g63t but i need a litte question answered.after buying when i got online to search for parts i can just time 98 eclipse gst to find th eparts for my engine or does it matter?

Depends on which parts. Bolt ons are fine.

such as performance pulleys,CAT,much more.

well ok,i am swtiching my 420A engine to the 4g63t also getting 4g63 tranny.after i switch it say i have a problem with pulleys or want to upgrade it or i want to add cold air intake to the new fuel inejector.i go into the store or online and they ask what kind of car it is going on.do i tell them it will be going on a turbo now or just keep telling them regular?

who said you could do this. Maybe you should do a little research before trying it. Because i hope the place doing it plans on spending alot of time in making this engine fit and bolt in. This is NOT a direct swap by any means. You basically need a donor car to take everything from.

To teh best of my knowledge there still isn't a person who has done the swap succesfully without any issue even after 50k invested. It has been done succesfullya fewtime though using a 4g63 from an evo 8 or 9.

i know of at least 2 that have done it without issues. One guy actually did it for about 3 or 4k but he did ALL the fabrication himself and was very good at welding and metal work. So it worked. Out any swap can be done with enough skill, money, and time
