Default 90 Eclipse, Can't Get Alternator Bolt Out

I have a 90 Eclipse (Talon) non turbo 2.0, can't get the alternator bolt out to change alternator.

There's nothing wrong with the bolt, I thought it was in backward, but apperantly the bolt head BELONGS on the belt side, making it more complicated to remove.

The bolt head is hitting a raised seam in the engine compartment body panel.

Is there a way I take engine mounts loose and move the engine to get the bolt out?

Looking for my Haynes book so it can confuse me more, but thought someone might explain which engine mounts to detach, and how to move engine to get bolt out.

Seems it would have been simpler to point the bolt head at the exhaust manifold. Looks like plenty of room over there. [sm=smiley29.gif]
I guess there is some reason for this I don't see.
