Default Am I being too picky

After washing down my new Eclipse Spyder (2007), I noticed that on both side of the car, right behind the doors, on the side skirt (aero kit equipped), there's an impression/dimple, in the plastic material; like whoever installed it pressed really hard to mount it (i.e., trying the get the adhesive in some places to stick), and created a dimple.

Here is picture:

I'm trying not to be picky, and I know the car will eventually get dings, but this is a plastic part that is either defective or been improperly installed.

I'm sure it can be fixed by either removing the side skirt, and slightly heating the effective area and placing pressure from the opposite side, or the whole thing replaced.

Do you think the dealer would give me a hard time?

Let me know.

Thanks.

B

I would give it a try and yes, you're being picky. I say that because I would have already taken it to the dealership the day I noticed it, lol. So I guess, we're both picky

Thanks for the input. I didn't think I was being too picky/**** about it either. I'll see what the dealer says.

Ugh - I hate dealing with these things. If they agree to fix it - I hope they don't screw something else up. After all, the aero kit is a dealer installed option.
