yeah, i bought a 95 eclipse last week, and got some new questions,

1. Where is the gas door button to open the gas door?

2.The boost gauge, where should it stay at when idling?

3.When it is cold outside, when it starts up, it squeeks pretty bad for about 15-20 seconds.

1. Its on the left beside the driver seat on the floor, right beside the truck hatch release.
2. your stock boost gauge will read nothing at idle. (it sucks buy a aftermarket gauge)
3. its your belts, just change them and youll be good.

it does have an aftermarket gauge

it reads at the 60 mark when idling, now this gauge runs 0 on the left side in the middle, and above the 0 mark, it reads to 1 then 1.5 and i think 2, below the zero it reads in 20's(20, 40, and 60)

 

Its probably an electrice boost gauge then,and that sounds about right. At idle you will have a vacuum which are the marks below the 0.
