got a prob. need 2 figure out
i got my 97 eclipse gs. well the connecting rod shot out the side of the motor. so ii have been llooking for a new motor. well i got a guy with a 93 gs just rebuilt the motor and its an amazing price. so i need 2 know if it will fit. his is a 7 bolt. im like 90% sure mine is 2. there both 2.0. so idk if it will fit.

no it will not. You can only use an engine from a 95-99 eclipse GS/RS or Talon ESi
Becuase the motor you have is a 420a, and the 1g eclipse came with a 4g63

ok thanks. cuz i got a guy telling me his will fit in it. so i was gonnabuy the 93 motor. but if it wont fit its not worth it
