I just totalled an 05 subaru impreza, so i needed to get a car for cheap and found out that one of my coworkers is going back to brazil and is sellin his 98 eclipse, kissed some ***, got all buddy budy and im gettin it in january for 2800. Its got 80k miles on it, all it needs is a paint job b/c its deteriating. Obviously, a stock eclipse isnt gonna be enough...and im def. gonna save myself some money when when i buy it. i dont mind droppin a hard earned 3000 into it if its gonna have more horse than my old subie. There's a lot of conflict in opinions when the people ask about getting a rebuild and turbo or just gettin the GST swap. Please get back to me w/ your opinions.
