used or reconditioned engine

Default used or reconditioned engine
Hey guys,

I wanted to pick your brain on something.

If you have an engine failure on your car. Would you opt to replace it with a used engine or a reconditioned engine?

All else being equal, I'd opt for reconditioned. Generally speaking, you'll have some element of warranty via that route. Used, you're generally on your own.
