Default What would you do - probable dealer ding

I just picked up my 2007 Spyder GT, auto, premium option package, sunset pearlescent, charcoal gray interior Thursday at 3 pm - what a great, great car.

Well, today, while I was making room in my garage to keep the Spyder, I noticed that there is a small ding in the top most portion of the drivers side front quarter panel (and another very slight ding, that is barely noticeable). It must have definitely been there when I picked the car up, I just didn't go over the entire surface of the car with a "fine tooth comb".

I want to call the dealer and let them know that it must of been there when I picked the car up - but you will probably tell me that the dealer is not going to take responsibility - and indicate that the ding may have happened after the car was picked up. I know whichguy who detailed the car at the dealer - perhaps he can support my finding, but he may not.

Has anybody experienced such an issue (an undiscovered ding), and if so, what success you had with the dealer.

Thanks.

Blue

What do you mean? That they'll say too bad it's my problem?

Theyll just pretty much deny that it was them. Depends on your relationship with them... I mean, what is it you expect them to do? Replace the panel?
