2.5 V6 Galant Air Intake
Hi, thinking of fitting a new air intake to my Galant 2.5 V6 2001
eBay show these http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...;rd=1&rd=1and I was wondering if I'm doing the right thing?
If I get one, will I need to adjust the air flow sensors MAF etc?
Been told to sinply replace the air box for this unit and it will adjust itself - just looking for a bit of confidence that I'm doing the right thing????
Much appreciated.

RE: 2.5 V6 Galant Air Intake
Thanks for that, and yeah I'm sure.
Motor is a UK 2.5 litre V6 Galant reg. early 2001
Would it be worth fitting the new filter over the stock item? Will I see a performance and fuel difference?
Just got the car so kinda finding my way around it still, appreciate the advice.
Cheers

Oh its UK specs... thats prolly why I was confused... I wouldnt really imagine that you will feel too much of a boost in performance using that filter... What you need is the Cold Air Intake or Short Ram Intake, designed for that motor. The filter change alone will not make much difference.
