Hey I'm just about to buy a 2005 Eclipse Spyder. I really like the deep, throaty sound, and am looking for an inexpensive way to get that out of this car. A simple way would be great as well.

I was talking to another Eclipse owner and asked what he had done b/c I loved the way his car sounded. Turns out all he did was take out his cat converter. So far that's what I'm thinking. But it'd be great to do it a legal way before resorting to this.

The last car I owned I had tried to alter the sound. I put a can on it, but hated it. I really don't want to do that with this beauty of a car. Any suggestions would be great. Even some recommendations on a great exhaust system would be welcome.
