[ul][*]I've replaced the K-frame under the engine and was told it was crazy cuz I left the engine and tranny in, but I am getting my rear kicked trying to get the '92 GS Eclipse to quit acting like it has all kinds of choke, sensor trouble, air spark, intermittently jumping down like the throttle doesn't work. I saw this kind of thing happen to my son's '92 Talon. He replaced the ECM and it seemed to Clear up. I'm hoping that this will help with the 92 eclipse as well. I have the whole Engine out of a '92 hyundai Sonata and it has yieldedmany similar parts that I would swear I could just bolt it in. Does any one know If this is possible? My main reason for posting this is to find out the secret to rebuilding abad ECMDoes anyone still have this Info???? I tested the car and it tests normal, But the check engine light would come on then off when the problem cleared up-ODD??[/ul]

 

Your best bet is to pull the ecu out and take the cover off and see if any of the capacitors leaked onto the board.
