Can anybody clarify the steps when installing a new tensioner and tensioner pulley. I bought the tool with the pins. What I don't understand is the sequence of tightening goes. If the bolt through the pulley locks the pulley in place while you tension and put the belt on. What happens when you pull the grenade pin from the tensioner. Do I then back of the pulley through bolt?

 

no you leave the bolt tight the tensioner with the pin takes up slack as the belt stretches with wear
