Default wtf is a turbonator?

so i was looking around the internet for different ways to get some horsepower out of my 03 lancer oz rally when i came across something called the turbonator, it is a little ring that goes into your air intake hose and promises 10 horsepower for every 100 you already have and better as mileage for 30 bills. has anyone ever heard of this thing or is it just a scam? and is there anything else i can do to my car without dishing out a couple grand on a turbo or supercharger?

Turbonator is a piece of round alloy to be use inside the rubber tubing of the intake.

it has vortez that will spin the air when it pass.

NO COMMENT with that product.
