I am disabled and without garage so does anyone have a suggested/favorite place to just get some new brake pads put on? I kind of feel like a wuss for asking but the city parking lots here frown horribly on doing work in them and as it stands, mine is within view of the police station....

The only place I've brought it to tried to up sell me on pads, calipers, rotors, and CV axles. I drive less than 35 miles a year, the ABS light can stay on for all I care. I just want to be able to stop without a spongy foot pedal and a prayer.
