Default 94 3000GT SL NON-TURBO OIL

Hi, like I said before I bought a 94 SL for 6,000 and i came without an owners manual. Does anyone know where to get one? I checked on 3sx.com they dont have it and on ebay i did not see. What oil does a 94 SL take? My mechanic told me to use 20w50 bc its starting to burn a little oil and/or leak, because 20w50 it is thicker.. While I replaced engine seals and will replace the oil cap beause i see its leaking from there. Mitsubishi told me use 10w30 or 10w40 for higher mileage. mine just has over 100,000 (castrol gtx good? mobil1?). And should I use synthetic? And what about the performance K&N oil filter: any good? Thanks guys.

I use 10-40 in my NA Stealth. Castrol will work fine. No need to swap to synthetic. I haven't heard of any problems with the K&N filter. Don't use Fram, there have been a few reports of seized oil pumps because of crappy check valves in the filter falling apart.

Synthetic is much better. Do you know if the car has synthetic in it right now?

Synthetic is better...but for a car with over 100K miles and non-turbo, there is really no need for the added expense...that is assuming it's always had dino oil in it.
