Default Clutch Problems? Help Please

I have a 1995 3000gt sl. The clutch has about 10,000 miles on it and I baby the car. While driving one day my rpm's would increase with no increase in speed when I pushed on the gas. I was driving on the the highway and this continued over the course of 30 miles until I was driving 45mph at 3000 rpm's in 5th gear. I never smelled a burning clutch and the clutch pedal has the same resistance as before. Like I said, I baby the car and have driven a 5 speed my whole life. I am hoping someone can give me some insight. Could it be the slave cylinder? Has anyone had this happen before?

The clutch just needs to be adjusted. The clutch is slipping when it does that.... thats bad. When it slips, it burns.

Take it to a place and get it adjusted.
