Default collectible VR4 value?

Need some input please and thanks:
this is in regards to a 1994 VR4 martinique yellow with only 30K miles..all stock and in perfect condition. Garage kept and babied. Its my son's reward for completing college.
Anyways, we just found out there's a baby on the way and he's thinking of selling it. This thing is a jewel. There's nothing out there I can find to compare it to re: re-sale value, and Kelly blue book is N/A at this point.
I told him it would be of more value to a Mitsu enthusiast like myself, vs. sticking it out there on auto trader, etc. Anyone want to throw a number out there regarding the potential value of this thing? Any help would be appreciated. Honestly, if the numbers come back too low, I'll probably keep it.
The only technician who's ever turned a wrench on this thing for the last 6 years is the #1 Master Mitsu 3000 tech in the midwest.

Probably around $10-$12 thousand. I haven't really found one of these that has some sort of real collector's value. On 3Si they used to go often really cheap (although I haven't been there in a while). In any case I suggest you keep it. If he loves it and has the space for it then keep it because he won't get much for his money and to be honest these cars are head turners and not a lot of cars on the road compete.

WHAT ARE YOU SMOKING?!

94 Vr4's with 120k miles are still selling in the vicinity of 10k.

You're looking at closer to $15,000 - $20,000 for the yellow Vr4, assuming the maintenance is at-spec, etc. Unfortunately, you will have a very hard time selling it right now. If you wouldn't mind e-mailing me with pictures, specs, etc, I can try to help you find a buyer. I have people email me all the time looking for these cars, as I run a shop that specializes in them.

I'm not smoking anything. I just don't think he can sell a 94VR4 for that money. Whoever's buying a 94 VR4 for $10000 at 120k miles is getting ripped off. 4 years ago I picked up my 92 VR4 with 44k miles in Cleveland OH for $9000 and imported it to Canada.

I just sold a 95 TT for $9500 with 140k miles. Condition, and owner/maintenance/title history means a LOT more than just a bottom line price.

And whoever is SELLING a 94 VR4 with 30k miles for $10k is GETTING ripped off.

I sold a 91 TT with 40k miles on it for 11.5k (which I feel was still low for the condition of the car), and have a 95 3000GT non turbo with 13k miles for sale at $15k, and I'll probably get that. It's not an easy sale, but it will sell, because low mileage, pristine condition cars pull a premium.
