Gas Gauge Stuck
I'm confused, did you get a 3kgt?
Anyway, you can take the instrument cluster out and remove the plastic clear cover and make sure the needle isn't stuck. It could be caused by the needle being too far down or the overlay may have gotten loose and is keeping the needle from moving. Another possibility is the fuel gauge sender may have went dead or has a loose connection. If it's dead, well, it's in the tank.
Oh yeah, another thing is the cluster may have lost it's tight connection with the plug in the back somehow.

Yes, I traded my GST for a 3KGT. I like it so far, much more reliable. Anyways, would filling up tank kill the fuel gauge sender?I'm just asking becauseat one point this happened to me with a different car, I filled the tank up and the gas gauge stopped working.I'm going to try what you suggested and take out the instrument cluster and hopefully thats it.
I'm going to open up the gauge cluster after work. What do I do exactly when I open it up? I'm not really sure. Do I try and wiggle the gas gauge needle? I dont feel like breaking anything more than it really is.
I don't know about your cluster. You don't have to wiggle the needle, just move it down and in it's normal position after 100 miles. Try pushing the overlay down first, maybe you hit a bump and knocked it loose.
