ok simple question to those who have a twin turbo SL, what psi are u running? also what psi do u think i can run, my car runs really good except for some lifter tick when its really cold in the morning, also if it matter me car has 164k miles on it, i know its a hell of a lot but still runs strong.

I wouldn't run more than 7psi intercooled on the 10:1 engine. Just too dangerous. If you port the heads and run some high octane fuel with alcohol injection you could run more but it's not worth it in my opinion. I would say if your are serious about this TT deal then get a VR4 Engine and do a complete swap cuz then you have an 8:1 engine or you could rebuild your engine first making sure to put in new 8:1 forged pistons and porting the heads so you can run some serious boost. Either way...I wouldn't turbo until you did a complete engine rebuild due to the fact you have 164K on it. Forced induction if done right will be your friend but if done wrong will spell a quick death for your engine.
