Default speedo issues

washed down my engine bay today and now my speedo dont wor at all!!! could ive hit the sensor with water or wumthing. any info would help thanks.

where is the sensor for the speedo?

No idea for the speedometer sensor, but...um...did you like use a hose or something? Or did you use a wet rag and reach in to do it?

It would matter if he used high-pressure hose.. that has been known to jack up things on my side.. other than that a regular hose wouldn't harm sensors... or at least most of the time. but I yeah dude I just don't know what to tell you.. if your speedo isn't working most likely it would be a sensor.. just trace it back man..

What model do you have?? The NA's have a speedo cable, no sensors. The VR4 has a sensor that you could have damaged, but I don't see how.

Oh, and what exactly is wrong with washing the engine bay?? If done properly, nothing will be harmed what-so-ever....do you guys never drive in the rain....idiot.
