Car idles too high

Default Car idles too high

Hi we have a 96 diamante v6. The problem is it idles way too high.What is the fix on this, something to do with a sensor maybe

Could be the speed sensor.

You can take the car to auto zone and they can scan it for free, if it turns out to be the sensor they will help you replace it. It is mounted on the throttle body and it is called the throttle position sensor, not the speed sensor sorry !
