My 2002 Diamante has about 131K miles. I pulled the Regulator assembly from the Alternator in order to check the Brushes for wear. They were down to 1/4" in length. This is clearly a wear item that when the brushes get too short causes Alternator voltage output issues. A new Alternator is big bucks for OEM quality. The OEM Bosch Regulator part number for my car was 9 191 067 050. I found a supplier for Bosch part 9 191 067 043. This part was a functional Bosch OEM replacement. I am looking forward to another 130K trouble free alternator miles
