good oil

Default good oil
Hi guys, i'm doing an oil change on my 1989 Mitsubishi v3000, 206,000ks, whats a good oil to use on these engines is castrol magnatec 10w-40 OK to use as the previous owner used very budget oil, thanks.

depends what nick the rings and oil pump is in. Id go thicker. 15-40,
no advantage to magnatec on old engine, soaps can actually be harmful. Repco brand is fine if you do regular changes.
