Just spent $750 today to put in a new Compressor and dryer in our 02 Diamante, but they could not get any electrical power to the compressor. They "hot wired" the compressor and was able to get the system charged and blowing cold air, but there is no electrical power getting through the plug to the compressor through the system.

I rechecked all the fuses and the relays involved. There were two relays that were bad. I replaced them, but that did not fix the problem. The other problem that has now shown up with this is that there is no air volume coming out of the vents, even on high blower, no matter what the vent position. That was working fine before the new compressor system was installed. It's like the main door is not opening now.

Is there some kind of computer in the system that needs to be reset that could be causing all of this?

The air conditioning mechanics are not able to run any electrical diagnostics so now I have to spend more money at another shop to run that down. Help!
