Default 2005 Endeavor Transmission Shifting Problem

My 2005 endeavor LS - V6 - 3.8L 3828ci GAS MFI vin S type 6g75 - 4 valve SOHC
when i put the car into reverse it doesnt move unless i accelerate a little bit and it catches for a second or two reverses a few inches and stops moving again, it does the same while in drive, when im shifting between drive, neutral, or reverse i can feel it catching gears but the car wont move. I've seen multiple videos on youtube saying it is possibly the filter, and possibly a solenoid or sensor, im just not sure what i can be, im not experienced with transmissions at all but i have mechanical experience, im just hoping a replacement of a solenoid, sensor, or filter will have my car back up and running, thank you in advance for any helpful advice.

Hi. > How many miles on car? Service history?
> Have you checked fluid level? Condition? "Bright pink/red or dirty?"
> Can try a drain and fill, see if that helps. Do NOT do a 'Fluid Flush'!
HTH. Report back. Jeff

210k, I'm not sure about servicing on the transmission or fluids, I've personally never done anything to help the transmission, the level and conditions of fluid are good but I will try drain and fill
