Thank you for taking the time to explore this thread. My friend recently purchased a used 2007 Endeavor. I was trying to help him open the glass hatch on the tailgate. For the life of me I cannot find a switch or a handle anywhere on the vehicle. I do not believe the key fobs are the OEM's from brand new. There is no button on those either. This issue is curious. I am relatively literate when it comes to automobiles but this has stumped me. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you again for all your feedback.

 

What model Endeavor is this 2007? If memory serves me right, only on the SE model came with the ability to open the rear hatch window, all other models could only be opened by opening the rear door.

 

the glass opener was deleted as it was a ridiculous option. there was no advantage whatsoever in just opening the glass.

 

its not ridiculous im kinda bummed i have the ls because i cant get into the back when i have my bikes on my hitch, I went to the dealer and they couldnt figure out how it opens either, all the mechanics to open the glass are there so its confusing when theres no button to do so. but if u take off the little plastic cover on the inside of the door you can actually open up the glass manually, so theres no realistic way to open it.

 

I am a newbie and was wondering how you post a question? I just purchased a 2007 Endeavor and it has the Towing Prep package PIO. What does that mean?
