2011 Endeavor SE, crank no start in the cold, no CEL
Hi all, I have a 2010 Endeavor SE (title says 2011, sorry) with about 133k miles. Been in the family since new. The truck cranks a lot in the cold (below 50 degrees F), and cranks but does not want to start below about 20 degrees F. I can get it to start with a jump pack, but it still cranks for a long time, then rumbles to life. No check engine light, and no codes when I plug in a scanner.
This has been going on for the past 5 months or so, and it's the first time I've had this issue. This is a car that's lived it's life in Chicago, so it's no stranger to cold weather. Generally well maintained. Per online searches and input from mechanics, I've done the following things so far, not in order: replaced crank position sensor twice, cam position sensor twice, timing belt, battery, alternator, fuel pump, spark plugs, ignition coils, cleaned the throttle body, and used injector cleaners/engine cleaners. I've also tested relays, fuses, and wiring - nothing seems to be amiss. I'm at my wit's (and wallet's) end.
I don't want to give up quite yet, because I have a feeling it's something dumb simple. I'm seeing some things online about MAF sensor and coolant temperature sensor, but I'm looking for some more input before I start changing parts again. Help?

When it does start, does tachometer/engine have a high RPM?
Also: did you disassemble Throttle body to clean?
Jeff
When it does start it's almost like a cold-start diesel for about 2 seconds, then RPMS raise to about 1200 while warming up.
The throttle body is my current point of interest. I hadn't disassembled the throttle body until after posting here, that was today's project. But I moved the gear for the butterfly motor so now it's off... currently playing around with it and attempting a relearn

Sadly, many new parts these days are dead on arrival or are counterfeit.
Even big name mfgs.
