I have a 2005 Endeavor. The letter N start blinking after the 2 gear and does not change. Any idea of what happening?

 

Flashing "N" light is an indicator of a a Fail Safe mode. PCM detected some malfunction in the transmission and places vehicle into the "Fail Safe" mode. It allows you to drive slowly (1, 2 nd gear), but not full speed on highway. Many reasons for this, from simple wiring/harness issue to some major internal failure or actual PCM malfunction. You may have to have a mechanic scan the PCM with appropriate scanner to at least pull Transmission DTCs.

 

Have you done anything recently to the transmission? I change the fluid in mine and had a major problem with the car going into limp home mode. My problem was I had over filled the transmission by just maybe a pint. When I took a pint out it acted okay again. You have to use the exact fluid as well. You can get it from Amazon under a different name I think Honda? But it's cheaper than buying Mitsubishi fluid. Same stuff I think.

I'm having a similar problem, My Mitsubishi Endeavor 2005 was been driven by me normally in a highway around 100km/h (60mi/h) and suddenly felt like a stopngo and after that transmission was on 3rd and neutral light flashing.
